Today's post is all about nail varnishes...ones which I've worn this month!

The first look required the "Montpelier Square" silver and the "Camden" crackle effect polishes from Nails Inc...It was a DIY job and was probably the easiest manicure ever as it doesn't require precision, in fact, the messier, the better the outcome.

The second look is the Gosh nail dust in Gold available from Boots and Amazon. This look is SO easy to achieve; all you need is this little pot and some clear nail polish. Simply put a coat of clear polish on your nails, dip the nail in the tub whilst wet, remove the nail and place a top coat of clear gloss on again. The amount of compliments I got for this look was crazy and most people actually thought I paid for it - bonus!

The third look is a sexy red...I've tried and tested SO many red polishes in an attempt to find the perfect one; one that's not too deep, not too light/orangey, not too thin etc. This Chanel colour is PERFECT! Its the "Dragon 475". This was a two coat job.

The is an OPI colour called "Mimosas for Mr. & Mrs." and it's double coated. I love this colour because it's so feminine and despite being a very subtle pink colour, it stands out!

This gold minx is tough to do alone; it's a Nail Rock wrap from ASOS. You simply peel and stick onto your own nail, bending the excess wrap over your own nail, and filing off the excess in a downward file motion. The tricky part is ensuring that the wrap fits your nail perfectly, which requires a little scissor work!

The grey polish is by Orly and is called "mirror mirror", it's only one coat if you can believe it! I bought it from a salon in Montenegro but they're available on www.orlybeauty.com. Orly is one of my favourite polishes because they are so thick and rich that you don't have to worry about streaks or wearing endless layers!

Those who follow me on Twitter will know that this is the OPI "Gargantuan Green Grape" and this was specifically purchased for the purposes of being pastel trendy! It's two layers and is such a great Spring/Summer colour!

This is a Barry M polish called "307 Lemon" available at www.barrym.com and this took 4 layers purely because I wanted it to POP! Two layers is fine for a lighter finish. These are £2.99 and are great, I can't wait to wear this on the beach!

Finally, this is a Rimmel polish and the colour is "053 Apricot Punch"...It's semi pastel and is two layers. So pretty!

    Polish away!
